he National Geographic GeoBee is an annual competition designed to inspire and reward students' curiosity about the world.

  Students in grades four through eight （4－8） from nearly 10,000 schools across the United States will compete in the 2019 National Geographic GeoBee for a chance to win college scholarships and the glory of being the National Geographic GeoBee Champion.

  Registration for the 2018－2019 school year is now open． Any paid school employee can register their school for the National Geographic GeoBee. The registration fee is $120. Schools needing financial support can complete a Registration Discount Request form. Read the full list of rules here.

  August 1, 2018: Registration opens

  October 1, 2018: School GeoBee materials available for download

  October 1–February 1, 2019: School GeoBees held； date and time determined locally

  December 21: Registration by check closes

  December 22, 2018–January 25, 2019: Registration limited to credit card transactions

  January 25, 2019: Last day for School GeoBee registration

  February 1, 2019: Deadline for completion of online State GeoBee qualifying test

  March 4, 2019: State GeoBee qualifiers announced on NatGeoBee.org/results

  March 29, 2019: State GeoBees held

  May 19－22, 2019: National Championship held at National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, D.C.

  2019年2月1日：完成在線格貝資格考試的截止日期。

  2019年3月4日：在《NatGeoBee.org》上公布的州格貝賽預(yù)選賽/結(jié)果

  2019年3月29日：州格貝州舉行

  2019年5月19日22日：在華盛頓特區(qū)國家地理學(xué)會總部舉行的全國錦標(biāo)賽。
